Original building "Hotel Imperial" built in late 1800s

This is a bar/restaurant with great food on the menu and LIVE entertainment. The Lighthouse was in operation for 10 years under the previous owners. The new management team will be making some exciting changes and bringing some new faces onto the scene. So watch for further info on events to come!!!

 The original Lighthouse was actually the Imperial Hotel. It stood on the same grounds for over 100 years. The building was built in the late 1800s and had a lobby, living room, 12 rooms on the third floor, 3 apartments in the back, kitchen and a bar in the basement. Coal miners for the Imperial Coal Mining Company used to come to the hotel bar for a drink after work. Back then they could get a pint of beer for 5 cents. Unfortunately in 1995 faulty wiring caused the building to catch fire. Most of it burned down, but the old owners rebuilt this Historic building, minus the third floor, on the same spot it stood in for so long. And so here we stand today. In one of the oldest buildings (foundation & deed at least) in Imperial.
